2019 Spring Family Health & Wellness Day
CAIPA is proudly to support Charles B. Wang Medical Center on their 2019 Spring Family Health & Wellness Day.
Co-hosted by Garden of Hope and the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center, this event is for you to meet community organizations and learn about NYC’s health and social service resources. Adults can participate in free health screenings, while kids play games and do arts and crafts. Families can enjoy exercises and live performances, shake it up with a 30-minute Zumba session by Shape Up NYC and receive an array of resources including healthy lifestyle education, health insurance, social service, pedestrian, and bike safety information.
This event is supported by Empire Blue Shield Blue Cross and made possible by our participants: Bricks 4 Kidz®, Coalition of Asian-American IPA (CAIPA), Department of Sanitation, Department of Transportation, Grace Christian Alliance Church, IBPS Girls & Boy Scout Troops , Korean American Presbyterian Church of Queens, Queens Library, Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs, Shape Up NYC, South Asian Council for Social Services, and YMCA. A special thank you to the NYC Department of Parks and Recreations, and to the NYPD 109th Precinct.
