Director of Quality
Mary currently serves as the Director of Quality at CAIPA. Mary has over 8 years of rich and diverse experience working with independent practice associations, accountable care organizations, managed care organizations, and state initiatives. Her areas of concentration include strategic planning, practice transformation, quality improvement, provider education and engagement, and managing high-impact projects from concept to completion. In her current role, Mary works closely with managed care organizations and providers to maximize performance, streamline utilization, and optimize revenue.
Prior to her current role, Mary oversaw the Provider Engagement Team, responsible for the overall success of 80+ primary care practices in achieving the prestigious Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition, a care delivery model aims to improve patient experience of care, improve health of the population and reduce the per capita cost of healthcare.
Mary earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Baruch College and her Master in Healthcare Management from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester. She also holds certifications in medical coding, practice management and designated by NCQA as a PCMH Content Expert.
