1,000 private practice providers, covering over 50 specialties. Our provider network currently provides medical services and care to about
half-a-million patient population in the Asian community. At CAIPA, our mission has always been to unite the top health professionals to
deliver culturally sensitive and quality care, utilizing the most cost-effective approach.

CAIPA Social Daycare is a subsidiary of the CAIPA Foundation, Inc., which is a not-for-profit organization with 501(C)(3) tax-exempt status. CAIPA Foundation receives its donations mainly from physician-members of the Chinese American IPA(CAIPA). CAIPA SDC provides a great venue for seniors to socialize with their peers while enjoying a variety of recreational and health-related activities.

The Chinese American Medical Society (CAMS) is a non-profit, charitable, educational, and scientific organization committed to community service.  Established in 1964, it is the oldest and now one of the largest and most successful national Chinese American medical societies in North America with regional chapters in Boston and Albany and over 1,300 members. The officers and trustees are made of up leading physicians in the New York metropolitan area who volunteer their services to CAMS.
Over a decade ago, the CAIPA and CAMS Community Service Fund was established with the mission of supporting patient education, research and community-based projects. We continue to bring awareness to health issues in our community by conducting educational seminars on topics including diabetes, nutrition, osteoporosis, smoke session, Hep B, mental health, palliative care, and hospice care.

Selected members of an appointed National Steering Committee founded the Federation of Chinese American and Chinese Canadian Medical Societies (FCMS) in June 1994, in New York City, and later were incorporated in California. The combined membership of the organizations is 3,000 healthcare providers.
