Annie Chu serves as the Compliance Officer for CAIPA. In her current role, she is responsible for leading the internal processes to promote and ensure compliance efforts with Federal and State laws, regulations and company policies as well as to oversee compliance activities that impact CAIPA and CAIPA provider members. She also works closely with CAIPA doctors and their employees to advocate and implement compliance programs, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare compliance education.
Annie gained years of experience in different areas of the healthcare system, including academia, hospital and small practice. Prior to joining CAIPA, she worked at an imaging center and dedicated her focus on patient engagement and patient coordination. In addition, she served as Manager in the Human Resources Office of the National Taiwan University Hospital, where she gained experience in recruitment, new employee orientation, policies for labor fund, and HRIS.
Annie received her Master of Science in Organizational Behavior from New York University and Master of Healthcare Administration from Chang Gung University in Taiwan. She is also certified by NCQA as a PCMH Content Expert.
