Vice President, Network Management
Yin Tung joined CAIPA in 2012 with over a decade of managed care experience and strong knowledge in healthcare and business development. He has successfully managed multiple value-based payment contracts with Medicare, Medicaid and commercial plans utilizing his extensive experience in network management, quality improvement, risk adjustment, and value-based contracting. He oversees contracting, quality, practice transformation, home visiting program, and credentialing at CAIPA. Yin has a proven track record of consistent improvement in quality rating and increase in CAIPA’s surplus earnings. He involves greatly in business development and implementation of healthcare initiative to improve care in the Asian community.
In addition to his current role at CAIPA, Yin is the COO for CAIPA MSO and EVP for CAIPA Care. He volunteers in his spare time doing what he enjoys the most by managing two CAIPA social day care centers to help preserve the dignity and care of older adults.
Prior to CAIPA, Yin was Asian Program Manager and Contract Negotiator with Elderplan, Inc. He was responsible for the development of an Asian program, which included a comprehensive provider network, market strategies for the Asian community as well as leading Elderplan’s network expansion in Westchester for its Medicare Advantage Plan. He also served as the Administrator in Training (AIT) at NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation, where he helped the administration of a nursing home.
Yin graduated top of the class with MPA degree from Long Island University in Health Administration and earned an Advance Certificate in Gerontology.
